Find out how safe your buildings really are
We check your sites, tell you where they are weak, and help you fix the things that matter most.
Security built up over years is rarely joined up
Most companies have added security piece by piece. A camera here, a new lock there, a guard contract signed years ago by someone who has since left.
Each piece made sense at the time. Nobody has ever checked whether they work together.
We start by finding out what is really in place and how well it works. Then we work out which gaps are worth spending money on, and which are not.
Our physical security services
Pick one, or combine several into a single piece of work.
Security Audits
We check what you already have. Doors, locks, guards, cameras, passes and the rules your staff are meant to follow. We find where the written rules and real life have drifted apart.
Risk Assessments
We work out what could realistically go wrong at your site, how likely it is, and what it would cost you. Every site is scored the same way, so you can compare them fairly.
TVRA (Threat, Vulnerability and Risk Assessment)
A formal, detailed version of a risk assessment. Insurers, landlords and regulators often ask for this one by name.
Executive Protection
Security for directors, owners and other people who may be at risk. We start by working out the real level of threat, because visible bodyguards are not always the right answer.
Security Staff and Guarding
Planning, hiring and supervising security guards, including their duties, shifts and performance checks. Subject to our confirmed capability and local licence rules.
Security Design and Advice
We write security rules and procedures for your building, based on how it is actually used rather than a template.
Emergency and Incident Planning
What your people do when something goes wrong. We write the plan and then run a practice session, so your team has done it once before it matters.
Travel Safety Advice
Planning and advice for staff travelling to higher-risk places, so you can show you took their safety seriously.
Six steps
The same six steps apply whether you have one building or fifty. Only the time it takes changes.
1. Understand
We find out what matters most to you, what you already have, and what has gone wrong before. We read your existing documents before visiting.
2. Visit
We walk the site, watch how it works at different times of day, and talk to the people who run it: reception, guards, facilities and IT.
3. Analyse
We work out what could go wrong, how likely it is and how bad it would be. Every site is scored the same way.
4. Recommend
We give you options with rough costs, in the order we would do them. We separate what must be fixed from what would just be nice.
5. Help fix
We can write the specification, help you choose a supplier, supervise the work and check it was done properly.
6. Check again
We come back after an agreed time, because buildings change and so do risks.
Why it is worth doing
| Decisions you can explain | Written proof of what you chose to do, and why. Useful for your board, your insurer and your regulator. |
|---|---|
| Money spent in the right place | You fix the things that could really hurt you, not just the things that are easiest to see. |
| The same standard everywhere | One set of rules for every site, so you can compare them and hold suppliers to account. |
| Proof you looked after your staff | Clear evidence that you planned for their safety at work and when travelling. |
Where we see it most
Offices, factories, data centres, banks, hotels, hospitals, schools, warehouses, and utilities.
What each one needs is very different. A data centre and a shopping centre have almost opposite problems. So we always start with how your site actually works.
Common questions
It depends on how many sites you have and how big they are. One office is usually quick. A group of sites is done in stages. We always tell you how long it will take, and what it will cost, before we start.
An audit asks: is what you already have working properly? A risk assessment asks: is it the right thing to have in the first place? Many clients need both. The audit usually comes first because it is cheaper and faster.
If the fix is equipment, our systems team can install it. You are not obliged to use us. Our reports are written clearly enough for any other company to follow.
Yes. A common job is checking whether an existing guarding contract is doing what it promised, and helping you hold them to it. We are not trying to take over a contract that is working well.
Whatever applies to you, such as a rule from your regulator or insurer. If there is no outside standard, we agree one with you in writing before we start. That way the findings are fair and can be checked.
Not sure which one you need?
Tell us about the site and what is worrying you. We will say which check fits, and what it involves.
